Mother's Day - Cocoa Beach

We headed to Cocoa Beach for mother's day.

This is what our family looked like the last time we were at a beach on the Atlantic.
Picture taken about 50 feet from our "summer beach home" on the Jersey Shore 2009 while I was 8 months pregnant with Calin.

And this is three summers later.
Yeah we forgot to pack Calin's swim trunks, oops.

Not everyone would be happy with the life I have, but I guess that's why it's mine.  I love my life!  I have an incredible husband who makes my world spin.  And my kids, well they are just the cutest little things ever, right?!
Capri and I hung out in the beach tent most of the time.  She wasn't a fan of the sand, but loved the extra cuddle time (and so did I!)

There are lots of things I look forward to, like Jordan finishing grad school and getting a "real" job, owning a home, not moving every few months, the list goes on and is probably a little too long.  I think life will be great when those things happen, but my life is great now too!  Actually it's better than great, it is WONDERFUL!  There will always be things I wish I had, or things I wish I didn't have to do, things to look forward to, and things that are hard, but there are always so many wonderful things every day.  And today, I'm in Florida, with family and friends, fun things around every corner, and creating memories that will last forever.  I'll always look back on these summer days in our college life and miss them.

I had a wonderful Mother's day.  And I hope all you other mothers did too!  And to all the mothers in our lives we sure do love you!!!

So happy to hear you say you love life now and look forward to the future! I look back on our time at BYU with fondness! In fact every season has held it's own magical times I would never want to miss! Again, so glad you are enjoying each phase as they come! Love all the pictures! And...you do have adorable kids!

Beautifully put. It's important to remember to enjoy life now, even if we look forward to the future. :)
