New Years Eve

With young kids it's hard to make big plans for New Years Eve. But this year turned out to be a blast. We skyped with some of our besties. Scott and Aimee. We played each other on Mario Kart Wii just like old times while we snacked and chatted through Skype. It was fun. We miss them, and are glad we found a way to ring in the new year with our best friends.

And my sweet sister-in-law sent a gift to open on New Years. It's a blessings jar (you can see it in the picture above next to the TV). She went through and recorded blessings from 2013 each on a separate slip of paper, and as 2013 came to an end and we rang in the new year 2014 we read through all the wonderful things 2013 brought us. This year we will write down out own and fill the jar to read again on New Years Eve. I love it! Thanks Jenna!!
