Friday night Jordan had a Chili mission reunion. It was really nice! His mission president, President Duncan, put it on. It was held at the Hilton in downtown Salt Lake City, and had dinner and dessert (they even had Prime Rib, yum yum). We took a few pictures with Elder Senneff, Elder Coombs, Elder Epperson, and President and Sister Duncan.
Saturday morning Jordan went golfing with Matt and their friend Ryan (before the morning session of conference). It rained the entire time they were out there and they came home entirely soaking wet.
Mickie gave me glitter toes during the afternoon session :) So my toes are cute and sparkly now!!
While the guys went to the Priesthood session, Mickie and I went shopping and made these amazing "10 minute brownies" in the microwave! I was so impressed at how delicious they were!
When the boys got back we went to Target and bought the Disney version of "Are you Smarter than a Fifth Grader" Very fun game!
Sunday morning we watched the first session with Matt and Mickie, then drove up to Salt Lake for to meet Amy for the second session. Being in the Conference Center for General Conference
is such an amazing experience! It is among my most favorite things ever! The spirit is so incredibly strong! And to be in the same room as the Prophet and true Apostles of the Lord
speak to the world and give us council is so amazing! We also ended up sitting by a lady I
know from home and her niece (who lives in Philly). After conference she said to me that it was a tender-mercy form the Lord that we sat by each other. I couldn't agree more. She is one of the most amazing women I have ever met. She is definitely one of those Angels among us that Elder Holland spoke of (one to eveyone and anyone who crosses her path). Anyway, to see her again, and even sit next to her was very special, and truly a tender-mercy!
Conference was amazing. I'm looking forward to reading the talks in the Ensign when it comes!
Oh yeah, and the announcement of the new Temples!! Wow!! Philladelphia, PA! And ROME ITALY! :)

That's great you got to spend the weekend with Matt & Mickie. Sounds like you had an inspiring time at your conference. Wow a new temple in Rome huh...I've been wanting to go to Rome to visit the Vatican and see the Pope (and of course all the famous art & architecture) - it would be interesting to see a Mormon temple there - so far from the temples you, Kelly and Mickie have posted about many of them seem to have beautiful architecture.
Ahhh....what a great weekend! I guess we'll see you guys for a little bit next weekend though!! Cool!!
I'm so excited to see a temple is going to be built in Philadelphia and Rome. Glad you could be in Salt Lake with family last week and this week. Reunions are always fun especially when they come with prime rib.
