{ August 12th-15th }
We left Idaho Wednesday and drove through the night to Pinecrest Lake in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. We stayed at a cabin there with my family till Sunday.
It is a beautiful lake! Jordan and I hiked around it with Calin on Friday. My mom told us it takes 4 hours, but we finished in under 2 (it really is an easy hike, I'm not sure why it would take 4 hours). I'm still not sure if she believes that we actually hiked all the way around - but we did :)
Calin loved the old school 90's Kelty backpack we had for him, but fell asleep after about 45 min
Jordan and I went out on some kayaks Saturday while my mom and Aunt Jenna watched Calin
He loved playing in the water
Calin started standing up by himself and taking a few steps. But we were never able to catch it on camera.
This was our first time meeting our nephew Troy. He's such a sweet little guy! And Calin just loved him!
I'm sure they'll have lots of fun together as they get older!

Pinecrest was so much fun. I always loved it when I was younger so it was nice going back with my family and having Jordan and Calin there!

What a pretty lake. Looks like y'all had a great time! We got one of those backpacks when we were living in OR. The kids loved sitting in it - they too would always fall asleep.
AHHH these photos are all so cute!! Love the ones of calin playing in the water. So sad we missed his party, I'm still mad at Erica for taking so long Sunday packing. *hence why i made her call to apologize!
