It's A . . .

BOY!
Of course :) I didn't really have guesses with my other two. But since my first two pregnancies were so different, and this one has been so similar to the first, I was pretty confident it was a boy. It kind of took the fun out of finding out though. Maybe it will still be fun for all of you to find out though :)
My ultrasound was at 7am so Jordan would be able to make it, and we left the kids with my amazing friend Jamie. I'm usually still sleeping at 7am, and I think baby is too, cause he remained curled up in a little ball face down for about 20 minutes despite all the moving and poking around we tried doing to get him to move. It was fine, she was still able to get all the measurements, and then then at the end he finally started dancing around and she was able to get the last few measurements she needed.
I went back at 11:00 to meet with the Dr. This time I had both kids with me and the Dr. was out on his 3rd delivery of the morning so he was running a little behind. No biggie. The kids were cute little angels! They sang primary songs for everyone, and sat quietly reading books from the lobby. I wish they stayed that good when were home, but I'll take what I can get :)

We finally saw the Dr. and he's awesome! He made me feel so good about myself and the baby! My last appt (just 1.5 weeks ago) I had to see the PA, and she was super sweet, but it took her and the nurse (nurse tried first) about 10 minutes to find the baby's heart beat. That was kind of scary. Especially since it was going to be the first time I would hear it, it made me worried there wasn't one. She finally said "Well, I guess that's the best we're going to get" I guess baby was so low and wiggly (though at that time I couldn't feel him move at all) that it was hard to catch it on the machine. Also, she told me my last blood tests came back borderline anemic and that it usually gets worse with pregnancy. I still don't know if that's changed, but at least I'm taking my prenatals again (I ran out before my trip to CA so there was about a month I went without them. If I knew my iron levels were so low, I probably would have bought some instead of waiting to get back to AZ for my Rx).

Back to today. This ultrasound put my due date at the 6th of December. We'll still officially go off the early ultrasound EDD 12/12. But all my kids measure a week ahead at the 20 week ultrasound and I have had them both exactly one week early, so that's my bet with this one too :)  I am also measuring a week ahead. But who knows. I'm 19wks and 4 days today, and so far I have gained almost 10lbs. I'll take that. Though I do feel like I'm putting on a little extra around my sides that I didn't do with the first two. Oh well. Dr said baby looks wonderful, and all my numbers look wonderful, so we're happy!! And so excited to have another little guy join our family!! Now for names . . . . ??????

SO excited to meet him. Names, tough. Yeah scary they couldn't find his heart beat for a while! I hate that. Glad he is healthy.
