From Idaho all the way to Penn!

Wahoo!  We finally finished posting our cross country adventure :)  And we are finally all settled in to our new summer home.  I am shocked at how beautiful the east coast is!  I had no idea!  I feel like we live in a big town that is right in the middle of a beautiful forrest.  And it is so wonderful to be able to experience SPING again!  The morning we left Rexburg it was snowing and the day we arrived in Pennsylvania it was around 75!  What a difference!
Here's a picture I took just around the corner from our apartment.  This is how it is all over the place here.  So green and beautiful!

Our apartments are really nice too!  Very big and spacious!  There is even a fireplace in our living room!  haha, not that we'll ever use it in the summer, but it's neat to have I guess.  We live about 30 minuets outside of Philadelphia in a township called Chadds Ford.  We're less than 1 mile from the Delaware boarder.  Delaware is "the home of tax-free shopping" so I go there just about every day.  Here's some pictures of our apartments.

Oh, and I've been reading a lot lately to keep myself busy.  For our long 40 hr drive I bought two books: An Assembly Such as This - by Pamela Aidan, and Twilight - by Stephenie Meyer.  Mickie recommended the first one, because I love Pride and Prejudice so much.  And then everyone keeps talking about Twilight so I figured I might as well read that one too.  I was more excited to read An Assembly Such as This so I read that one first.  It was really good, and so fun to read from Darcy's perspective!  Then I read Twilight, and just like everyone else who has read that book, I got totally hooked!  I was shocked at how much I liked it!  I finished it just as the sun set on our last few hours before we hit Chadds Ford.  So the next day I bought the second book New Moon (I couldn't wait any longer), and finished that in just a few days, so for the third, Eclipse, I decided I would only read it at the book store, lol, that way it would last longer.  So I just finished that one last week.  Anyway, if you haven't read Twilight yet, I too, like everyone else who has read it, recommend it (to the girls anyway.  Guys-I don't think you'll enjoy reading it so much)!  It's such a cute story, and she's a great writer!

Hey! Good to hear everything is to your liking. Glad you liked An Assembly to Remember. Once youre done with Twilight you should read the rest of the Pamela Aiden trilogy. The second one is quirky but fun and the 3rd is a nice wrap up. How is everything going out there with the job and such? Matt and I are jealous and wish we could visit it looks gorgeous! :)

I read Twilight last week too. I liked it, and will read the next two books. It was a smooth easy read. And a park your brain at the door read. BUT...I kept having to tell myself this is just a story. I am much more of a realist. I tend to like to stay away from danger. I ask my Laurels all the time, "why would you want to date a guy who's not good for you, stay away from the edge." Okay, there's my take!
