Our favorite day of the week! The only day that Jordan does not have to work. The only day he has to see any east coast sites. The only day we get to spend entirely together. And then of course we get to go to church too! And the ward here is great! It's a 30 min beautiful drive to the chapel, and it is definitely the most friendly ward I have ever been to! I met more people in just one Sunday than I met all semester in our student married ward. I even have been asked to teach primary in June. Most people might not be too excited about that, but I think it's great! I've never even been to primary, so teaching it will be exciting, fun, and definitely a challenge (I have been warned that it is all about survival with these little ones).
Well, last Sunday we decided to go into Philly and see the historical sites there. It was fun, and a great educational experience. Since we're only about 30 min away from Philadelphia, we plan on going back often to see all the other famous sites :)
Independence Hall. Yes, it's a sword! (Not a water bottle!)
Jordan was a bit disappointed that we were bigger than the Liberty Bell.

Glad you two are well received into your new ward. They can learn from you two. I thought the liberty bell would be half the size of a room. Glad to know you are seeing part of the history of our country where men gave their lives for our freedom today.
Tell Jordan we felt the same way when we went and saw the Alamo for the first time - it was so much smaller than we thought!
That's awesome you only live 30 minutes from Philly - fun city trips ahead I'm sure!
THAT IS SO COOL! I want to go tour the east coast so badly! It would be such a fun trip maybe in a couple years when Matt and i go you can be our tour guides :)
