Here's some more pics from our trip. The whole region went out to dinner one night to a place called MaCambos. It was quite an experience! 
We ordered shrimp cocktail as an appetizer, and check out the shrimp!! They left the head on! With the eye balls, and legs - everything! Ewe! You had to tear the head off before eating it, and blood would spurt out! I didn't have the stomach to eat one, but those who did said they were still good once they cleaned them out and tore off the head. Yum!
For our meals, we ordered lobster, shrimp, beef filet, and salmon. All of those were pretty good, but was still a lot of food! And the eyes on the food kind of creeped me out.
After dinner we walked around the town. Jessica and Courtney were brave enough to take a picture with the gold guy. He was so sparkly!
We rented a van one morning and headed out to Chicken Itza, the Myan Ruins about 2 hours away from Cancun. It was so much fun! And it was so neat to see one of the Seven Wonders of the World!!
After Chicken Itza we went swimming in a cave "Ik Kil" only a few miles from the ruins.

Oh good I'm glad you guys made it out to Chichen Itza. When I visited years ago you were able to climb the pyramid to the top (which was a bit scary) and also tour inside of it. Inside as I was walking up the stairs they had bare lightbulbs on the walls for light and I accidently grabbed one and burned my hand!
Oh this must have been wonderful. I am jealous! I hope to get to visit Cancun someday and when I do I'll make sure we go see the Ruins.

You aren't supposed to rip off the heads. You are supposed to bite off the heads. Good food, good company and beautiful scenery. What more could you want. Rock abs? Maybe in high school.
Michaela and Jordan! I love your site! The Valentine theme is soooo cute!!! And I love all the pics of Cancun. Do you think you two will always travel the world every year? It sure has been an adventurous life together so far, huh? I miss you guys so much and can't wait to see you again. Seeing the Christmas pictures sure brought back some great memories. Love you!! Mom
