We flew home on Dec 18th to California to celebrate Christmas. We flew into San Francisco (which is rare for us, we usually choose Sacramento, or Oakland, maybe San Jose, but never SF) and our friends Amy and Brady picked us up so we could all spend the fun day in the city.

The weather was really nice, and only sprinkled a few times. Our flight got in around 3, and we were picking up Brady's sister in Oakland at 11, so we had lots of time to kill. We shopped in Union Square, where we found these great Roasted Chestnuts :) haha, admired the fun Christmas window displays and all the beautiful Christmas lights.

Then we headed to Fisherman's Warf where we had SF's famous clam chowder in sourdough bread bowls. It was delicious!

After we spent hours in San Francisco, we drove over to the Oakland temple to see the Christmas lights. It's not Temple Square, but it's still pretty!

The temple lights are beautiful! California sounds so nice right now with the wind screaming and it's freezing!
Happy New Year!
How fun, SF is a cool town to hang out in!
