The 4th of July is a HUGE holiday here on the East Coast. And Long Branch (the city where we live) has a great firework show and all kinds of stuff going on during the day.
The beach was packed! And the weather was perfect! No rain all day long!! Just sunshine! Because so many people show up along the Jersey Shore on the 4th, the sky was filled with all kinds of advertisements. This one was my favorite . . . G.I. JOE!!! He was hanging from a helicopter!
The guys only worked till 5:30 then they headed home for a delicious BBQ!
Steve (our lead technician out here) did the grilling, and the wives brought the sides and desserts. Tons of great food and fun!!
I love having so much family out here! It makes things even more fun!! And aren't my sister-in-laws just so pretty!! (Jenna and Mickie too! not pictured, but just as beautiful :)
After the BBQ we all walked down to the beach. The boys all played soccer then football. Jordan had so much fun! They played till it was just about time for the fireworks to start (that's how dark it was when they finally stopped)
The firework show was spectacular! One of the best I've seen!

First of all Kelly, you can still get a tan when using Suscreen...
Second Michaela I love that picture of you and Jordan at the top! Matt and I get more and more jealous about you guys living on the beach, yeah work is hard but when you have a chance to play it seems like TONS of fun! Glad to see you had a happy 4th with no rain. That firework show does look amazing.
