The flight back to California was LONG! I brought 3 books to read, and didn't like any of them. The screen in front of me was broken so I couldn't watch a movie or tv. And I couldn't seem to fall asleep for longer than 20 min at a time. But good things were I felt fine the whole way, my feet didn't swell, and I arrived safely :)
Here is a belly shot for 30 weeks! I only have 10 weeks left to go!!
Today I had a baby shower. It was a lot of fun and so great to see family and friends!
Jenna (my sister-in-law) and my mom did a great job with everything!! We had tons of fresh fruit - watermelon, strawberries, bananas, peaches, cherries, raspberries, and blackberries - Sooo delicious. We had croissant sandwiches, cheese and crackers, and cute cupcakes. Jenna and her aunt also made these delicious chocolate candies for party favors. I was so happy with all the delicious fruit that I hardly ate anything else, though everyone said it was all delicious :)
Now lots of people don't like games, but I happen to really enjoy them, haha. And so does my mom! So we played a few! We played one where the guests had to estimate the size of my waist with yarn, whoever was closest to the real size won. Most gals estimated at least a foot longer than I really am, lol. Yes I'm big, but I guess I'm not THAT big haha. Only a couple people were within a few inches. But my mom guessed right on! She said all she did was measure around her waist and take it out a tiny tiny bit, haha. I couldn't believe how accurate hers was when everyone else was so far off!! I think I should have estimated too, I wonder how off I would have been...hmm....
I received so many great gifts!! A few people even sent a few to Rexburg for us, and enclosed a picture for me in with the gift :) Thanks everyone for coming and for the wonderful gifts for our little baby spence!
Oh, did I mention it is HOT HOT HOT here?! Oh man! It has been in the high 90's and today it was in the 100's. It has made me grateful for the cool Jersey rain! I feel like I've started swelling up just in the few days of being here!!

Yes! Love those baby showers, always fun! Oh I LOVED fruit too, I mean I always have but you and me both while pregnant I seriously couldnt get ENOUGH... Yummm. Now I am trying to cut back a titch... I have some weight to loose for sure. Looks like your CA trip is going well. I was thankful for coller Utah weather as well a few weeks back. It's just BARELY starting to warm up here.
WOW!!! Awesome Baby shots!! Jordan, this is Scott. I miss you, too, but remember who chose to leave...Just Kidding. The purple potatos were weird, but tasted normal Aimee had to tell me to quit playing with my food. We miss you guys a ton, too. When are you coming back? Do you have dates yet? We also have some mail for you at our house...I really want to open it, but so far I'm doing a good job restraining myself. Don't know how much longer I can, though.

You are such a cute pregnant lady! It's actually not a coincidence that my fabric is similar to yours on my nursing apron. It was so fun at your shower. Your mom is still a riate!!! I cant believe how far off I was on the guessing game. You also got some cute stuff, the clothes were adorable!!! I miss baby clothes. I love ya chica!!! cant wait for us to see you again. Let us know when the baby blessing is and maybe we can come for the weekend???
