Turkey Swamp

Yesterday the weather was so beautiful! We haven't been getting out too much, so we took a trip to Turkey Swamp, in Freehold NJ. It was about a 35 min drive, and the lake (swamp?) was so pretty! We rented a paddle boat and rode around the lake for about an hour. We brought a lunch, and had a picnic out in the water in our boat. It was a nice relaxing day, and we had fun enjoying the warmth of the sun, the cool water and beautiful surroundings!
We didn't see any turkeys at Turkey Swamp, but we did see some geese.
Here is a picture of the type of paddle boat we used. They were big, but much easier to pedal.
