. . . that I now have a full-time walker?
{ Cause it's been going on for quite a few weeks now }
this first video was taken about a month ago when he was first starting to walk. I love how he fake falls :)
this video was taken just this morning
Or have I told you how funny I think it is when I ask Calin if he needs his diaper changed, and he exaggeratedly nods his head and goes to find a diaper to bring to me. But once I have the diaper in hand, he doesn't lay down and patiently let me change him, instead he takes off as fast as he can in the opposite direction (giggling of course) and makes me chase him before we get down to business. But he knows exactly what a diaper is, and where to find it, which makes me smile!
Did I mention Jordan sent off his first set of grad school apps yesterday! Whew! Only a few more to go (why can't everyone use PTCAS?!?)! Can't wait till they are all sent! Though, then we really will be waiting. For a long time too. hahaha, but we'll be that much closer :)
Remember how I told you I have been asked to sing again in church this Sunday - WHAT?! I didn't? Oh, right, that's because I just found out. This time it's with my good friend Shanna (who has an amazing voice!) with a solo! Oh, and the soonest our accompanist can practice is tomorrow. I know Shanna could pull this off no problem, but I'm not so confident it's actually going to happen.
Now I'm sure I have mentioned all the projects I have going lately (blankets, quiet book, photos, costumes . . . ) But have I told you I'm also trying to get a good cleaning schedule down. I'm usually pretty bad at keeping up on all the household cleaning stuff that needs to be done. I finally made some checklists for things I should do daily/weekly/monthly. So far it's working out ok, but I still think I'm missing things. So what kind of things do you ladies do that work well? For example, I once asked my friend Jessie if the dishes in her dishwasher were dirty, she said they were and that they are always dirty. Then she explained how she runs the dishwasher every night and unloads it every morning. So they're always dirty, and no dirty dishes pile up in the sink. May sound like a simple thing, but it's a very helpful one! So I try to be like Jessie :) and run the dishwasher every night and clear it out every morning. And I know all of you have similar helpful tips, so now - you tell me :)

SO Funny, Ty and Calin act just alike! Those were great videos!
Yay for Jordan and PT school apps going out! Now it's a sit and wait game...
Always busy, sounds about right. Good luck singing on Sunday!
I am not very good at keeping up on the household stuff too. When you find out all the tricks share them with me so I can be good at it too!
Those are so cute! I love watching the little people walk! They are adorable!
Good Luck on Sunday...that would be nerve racking! I'm sure you'll be awesome!
I need to be better at household stuff too! I find other things to be more fun...or rather spending time outside while it's nice so our yard is in order for the winter!
Okay Michaela, can I just say you and Jordan have the cutestes lil boy. Loved the videos, so adorable when he was faking his falls. And loved his excitement when he was stolling around outside.
Grad school for Jordan - how exciting, does this mean you guys will have to move? Where did he apply?
I know some other moms who do the dishwasher every night too. But I guess I was raised with very conservative parents :) ...I don't run a load in the dishwasher until the entire diswasher is full to conserve water and electricity. So I only run ours about twice a week. Same with the wash, don't do a load unless I have a full load to do. But as far as a housecleaning schedule, well I try to clean the bathrooms, and dust and clean the rooms weekly - but sometimes it doesn't happen. And my house doesn't usually get a thurough cleaning unless we have visitors coming. :)
