Our weeks tend to start out pretty rough at our house. It's ok, I don't mind getting the hardest day of the week out of the way early on :) And it's not like Mondays are unbearable. They aren't horrible. They are just a little more challenging than the other days of the week seem to be. If I had an Unlucky Day of the Week it would be Monday.
Today, this little Miss learned how to crawl (or fall?) out of her crib. I wasn't prepared for this to happen so soon. Calin was about her age when we moved him to a big bed, so it's really not too big of a deal, but she does SO well in her crib and I don't want to disrupt her awesome sleeping habits (19months and still taking two LONG naps, and sleeping at least 12 hours every night, never waking up. I'm just not ready to give that up!)
This little guy woke up with pink-eye. We took him to the doctor this morning to get some drops, and he was SO good. He told the Dr all about his eyes and what was wrong with them, and followed instructions perfectly. He was the cutest little patient ever! He was even good when we got home and I put the eye drops in his eyes (3 drops a day for 7 days - I'm sure he'll start fighting them soon). Right now he's fighting his nap. And it's not pretty. Hopefully he'll give in soon. This little sickie needs some rest!
So we have pink-eye, a crib escapee, and way too much whining going on right now for my liking. Not too bad, but I'm looking forward to 5:00pm when we get to pick up Jordan from school and have dinner delivered by our sweet friends (not having to make dinner Monday nights is one of my FAVORITE things ever!)
AND THEN . . .
Tonight we are having a Skype FHE with Matt & Mickie Co. Last month was our first try at it, and it was a total success, we all loved it, and the kids have a blast seeing each other! Tonight I'm in charge of the lesson and afterwards we will be playing Valentine themed Minute to win it games with them :)

I'm sure we could rig up a netting to go over the top of the crib to stop the possibility of her "falling out", OR I can teach her how to "escape" properly, OR we can move her into the twin bed in her room, clear out the crib and make for a bigger space for the kids to play. Lets take a vote!
ps. those are some darn cute kids!!
Of course they are cute kids. They come from good stock.
Yay, FHE was great fun tonight! The games were great and so was the lesson :) I'll get thinking for next month... you know in a few weeks. But I better plan ahead because I think i'll be frazzled the whole month of March.
Wow I am amazed Skype FHE could work. My kids have a hard enough time with just regular old FHE. Glad it worked out. Happy Tuesday!
Jealous :(
Oh my goodness! Look at those adorable kiddies! You guys are seriously such a beautiful family.
Best of luck with the pinkeye and the escapee!
