4 Summers

This time of the year we are usually packing up and moving across the country to spend summer in a new place we call home for 4 months. It's hard to believe that stage of our life has passed. I am happy that we don't have to move, but I loved our summer adventures! I will miss them SO much! We already miss our friends a ton. As hard as it is to move across the country every year, I think it's going to be just as hard staying in one place and not wishing we can just pick up and go to whatever place in the world our summer friends are.

These 4 summers have been Amazing. And since I'm already feeling a bit nostalgic  I thought I would post some of my favorite memories from each summer.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 2008:

We lived in a little town called Chadds Ford that we absolutely ADORE! It was by far our favorite city we have ever lived in. Jordan calls it the celestial kingdom :) This summer was full of SO much FUN! We spent so many days in Philly, New York City, Longwood Gardens, Jersey shore, Baltimore, Washington D.C., the Poconos, Hersey World, Amish Country, reading the Twilight Saga by the pool with friends . . . we packed this summer FULL of fun!!

This summer was all about the beach. We lived at the beach - literally. That and having two of my sisters-in-law with me was the best! It was a beautiful fun summer!

Little Rock and Fayetteville, Arkansas 2011:
I wasn't the biggest fan of Arkansas, but the summer was still wonderful with all of our friends! It's a beautiful state, but the summer was deathly hot! We spent almost every day at the pool. This is also the summer that Capri was born (my little Arky) which makes it even more wonderful!

 This is one of my all time favorite summer pictures. We all have so much fun together! And when I see this picture it reminds me of the wonderful friendships and fun memories we have created over the years. And looking at everyone it also makes me realize how much we have been through together - how much the kids have grown, and how many more babies are now added to our families, and how much each of us grown as well through the years.

Orlando, Florida 2012:
Oh what a way to end it all! This summer was FULL of magic! We spend most of our days at Disney World with all our wonderful friends and enjoying the smiles on our kid's faces as they watch all the magic of Disney unfold before their eyes! We made lots of trips to the beach, Sea World, the pool, and spend lots of time with family! If this had to be our last year, I'm glad it was one to remember!

That's the word that comes to my mind when I see this picture. And also when I think about our 4 summers. All the memories and fun we've had has been magical! I'm thankful we've had such wonderful friends to spend the summers with and that those opportunities came our way!
