Easter

It seems life has been moving too fast for me to keep up with this year. And the last two weeks were even busier. But wonderful too!! Jordan's brother Braden got home from his mission and is staying with us for a couple months :)  We are really happy to be able to spend so much time with him! We miss having siblings nearby, and it's been over 2 years since we've seen Braden so it's great that we have an extra room for him to stay awhile! Also, Jordan's dad moved to Mesa, and his grandparents moved to Prescott AZ, so it seems we have lots of family near by now which is awesome!! My mom also came down for a visit last week during her spring break so that was a blast!!!

Friday before Easter Jordan's school put on an egg hunt for the kids. I don't know how Capri knew what was inside those eggs, but the very first one she found she opened it up, threw the egg down and RAN as far from us as possible while trying to unwrap it, lol.

That Yellow egg at the bottom of this picture was Capri's. This was probably her 3rd one, and by then she realized she didn't have to run that far cause for some reason we weren't stopping her :)

Classic Capri "cheese" face
It looks like Capri had a pretty good haul, but really those are all Calin's empty eggs. We put the candy in Calin's basket (when it comes to sweets he has WAY more self control than his sister) and the empty ones in Capri's so we could return them.

The day before Easter our ward had a breakfast and egg hunt. Braden brought his camera along and took some pictures. Thank you for all the pics Braden!!
The kids were only allowed 10 eggs to begin with and Jordan had the best idea for Calin. He had him collect all the same color so he had to search around a bit more. He had so much fun with it!

These eggs were all taped up so Capri actually got quite a few.

haha, I don't know what's going on in this picture below, but I bet these are common expressions for both of us, so I thought it was funny :)

On Easter Sunday we went to church, took naps, dyed some eggs, had another egg hunt from the Easter Bunny, and had a yummy Easter dinner with Jordan's dad and Braden. Sadly I didn't take any pictures that day. I really need to get better at taking pictures of my own kids an family activities! I'll have to check Jordan's phone to see if he got any :)

Yeah neither of my kids have nay self-control when it comes to sweets, neither do Matt and I... we JUST polished off our Easter Candy and I don't want any more! Carpi is so funny running off with it all. May did the same thing she wanted to open and eat everything in one egg before moving on. GOod for Calin finding all the same color. I should think about doing something like that for my kids next year, since egg hunts are tricky anyway.

Awesome that Braden took some pictures of you guys.
