Oops, I compiled this post last month and forgot to post it . . .
What? A new post? Gosh it's sure been a while!
We've been busy enjoying the beautiful Phoenix winter with lots of trips to the zoo, parks, walks, fishing, BBQ's, bike rides, and other fun things. And I have been pretty busy with photography which for some reason has not carried over to my own family. I've been terrible at taking pictures of my own kids and fam. But here are a few. Mostly pics form our phones.
We went fishing a couple times in March while Jordan had a week off between quarters. We have some good friends who are big fishers, so it was nice of them to let us join in on the fun!
The kids feeding the ducks...
Calin climbed this web Over and Over and Over. I was pretty impressed that he made it that high on his own!
There was a fun park for the kids to play while the guys fished. This merry-go-round made me dizzy just watching them! All those "cages" spun in the opposite direction. Good thing Calin didn't inherit Jordan's horrible motion sickness!
Calin got this bike for his birthday last year from my dad and Brenda (well I guess it was kind of a Christmas gift since that's when we gave it to him. He's 3, he doesn't care :) He rides it almost every day, and is SO fast. I love balance bikes! They are the best! I'll have to post a video of him riding it.
Capri went through a phase where she hated the stoller, but she's liked it recently, and she climbs in it every chance she gets (even when we are getting in the car to go somewhere, she'll usually wait in the stoller while I strap in Calin).
Calin told me he didn't need a nap this day, so Jordan stayed home while Capri napped and I took Calin to Hobby Lobby with me. He talked my ear off the whole way there (only a 5 min drive), but he must have fallen asleep while I was parking? Anyway, he wouldn't wake up, even after I squeezed him into this tiny cart. I guess it was a good thing I didn't find anything I wanted to buy. . . where would I put it?!
Calin can be a good helper! It rained a lot in February, so there were LOTS of weeds in our side yard for Calin to pull! And he actually did a fantastic job!
Jordan built some shelves for our garage during his 1wk off. Our garage was a mess. Especially after we starting sorting through all those boxes! Here are some before and in-progress pics. Maybe someday I'll take an "after" pic. It looks fantastic now!
What a mess!!!
This picture just makes me laugh! It's been about a year since I have bought this poor girl new pajamas. She's way over due! And here are two little bedtime quirks of hers:
1) she has to have a cup of water with her every night. And even if it is already full, she still insists you put more in it. Every night. (most nights I just pretend by walking to the bathroom and turning the faucet on for a sec).
2) she also insists that you "awsh it"(wash her paci). Her pacifier has to be rinsed off after you lay her in bed. (I know, she's getting too old for it in the first plave, hopefully we'll break the habit soon!)
We go to the zoo a lot with friends, and it's so much fun!! We usually don't even see too many animals, we spend most of our time letting the kids play so we can chat :)
I got this table for $5 at a yard sale. Have I mentioned how much I love the yard sales here in AZ? They are fantastic! :)
Since church is now at 8am, we have plenty of time for Sunday naps. They are my fav!
On the last day of winter we went swimming with our friends. I'm sure there will be plenty of swim parties over the next 6 months!

Looks like you are getting a little to attached to AZ. Stop it! :)
I need Jordan to build us some garage shelves. We need them too. Drives me nuts to have stuff piled up.
I have always wondered about those pedal-less bikes. So they are pretty fun huh? He will probably learn to ride without training wheels as soon as he gets a big boy bike.
Tell Jordan Harvey would be so proud to see his shelf building ability!
And....I want one of those bikes! Dallin and actually Ashlyn would live it. That's how she rides her little Tonka truck around the sidewalk. Obviously Kelly didn't look into it and see that this REPLACES training wheels. But I won't tell her that ;)
