3 {Capri}

Sometimes most of the time I find it hard to believe this girl is only 3 years old. She's a funny one. I can't always figure her out, but she's fun, and smart, and so dang sweet when she wants to be. We're still working on the little sister thing, but she's a phenomenal big sister! 

Capri has her own way of doing things. She does not like to be told what to do or how to to do it. This isn't new, she's always been that way. She has her own ideas, and find ways to make them happen. She's becoming a little more outgoing. She's still a bit reserved around most people, but every so often she'll just start chatting away with a random person at the grocery store. And she has some pretty funny ideas too. Like I said, I can't always figure her out, and she always has her own ideas about things, but she is dang cute! And makes us laugh. a lot. 

(oh, you like her outfit? The crown, necklace, and earrings were her birthday present from Taylor. She found it that morning and put everything on before we even knew she was awake)

The girl is an artist. She loves to paint and draw. LOVES it! Not so much with crayons, but give her a pen and she'll come up with something like this - 

I took this video a while ago to show how well she holds a pencil. It took Calin forever to get a good hold (maybe since he switched off between his left and right hand so much??)

Give her some watercolors and she'll paint for hours. 

This is a video of Capri painting. It's long, you don't have to watch it all, but at about 1:45 she starts talking about Granny, her great grandma (who is a phenomenal artist!!) and says she's her best friend :)

She loves to sing and play guitar with Grammy

She's a messmaker. A HUGE one.

Have I mentioned she has a lisp? It's pretty dang cute. It's one that she should outgrow soon, so we're just enjoying it while it lasts ;)

She loves to help me cook. Her favorite is rolls. Every Sunday after church she asks if we can make rolls together. I love making homemade bread, so this is one of my favorites too.

She loves to read. And memorizes so many books so she can read them to us too. Sometime I need to take a video of her "reading" to us :)
