The first 6 months went by way too fast.
I took some 6 month photos while my mom was here. It's rough taking pics of my own kids. It's hard when the crazy stressed out mom is also the photographer. AHH! And having 2 other little "helpers" running around (literally streaking on the set) just adds to the stress. I better get a sitter when I attempt his 1yr photos.
Here are Taylor's stats:
6 month stats:
Weight: 20.09 lbs (90th percentile)
Height: 28" (95th percentile)
4 month stats:
Weight: 17.12 lbs (81st percentile)
Height: 26.5" (96th percentile)
2 month stats:
Weight: 13.8lbs (83rd percentile)
Height: 24.5" (97th percentile)
1month stats:
Weight: 11.82lbs (90th percentile)
Height: 23.5" (99th percentile)
Birth:
9 lbs 1 oz (93rd percentile)
22" (off the charts)
He's been growing so fast and has already outgrown his infant carseat and is in 12-18month clothes. But I think he's slowing down a bit. So I bet he'll stay in this size for a while and decline in the percentiles a bit.
At about 5 1/2 months Taylor started crawling. Just a slow army crawl, but it didn't take long for him to get the hang of it. He's pretty quick already. I'm pretty bummed about this. I was hoping he would be a baby who is happy stitting there with some toys around and in no hurry to go places. Wrong. Oh well. At least my floors stay a bit cleaner (thank you Jordan ;)
He still only has 2 teeth, but I know more are on their way out. He likes to gnaw on his finger, and lately it's been his left hand. I wonder if it's because that's the side that is bothering him or if he'll be a lefty too...
He's not too cuddly, but he'll still fall asleep in my arms while we're at church. I love it! I get to hold this big huge sleeping baby for 2 hours. It's the best.
He loves giving big kisses. Especially to Jordan. He grabs Jordan's nose (this kid has quite the grasp!! It's usually pretty painful actually), yanks him forward, and gives him a big mouth open wide slobbery kiss on the cheek. Then smiles and giggles. It's so dang cute that you hardly even notice that he's also trying to yank off your nose :)
He's also started talking. Not words of course, but jabbering. It's the CUTEST!! I took this video in the car. Calin was pretending to be asleep, then Tay would start jabbering at him, and when Cal would wake up Taylor would squeal (he squeals A LOT!). I just love how much fun he's having trying to talk to Calin :)

I love the bare bum with the stuffed animals. Now to pick which ones to hang on the wall... how will you ever decide?? :)
