8 Months

8 Months

Calin is becoming a very fast army crawler. He loves exploring and hates staying in one place longer than a minute.

He gives lots of kisses now

He's afraid of the vacuum. It started last week. He starts crying every time he sees it.

He has two more bottom teeth breaking through

His favorite toys change from day to day, but nothing can replace his favorite blanket (not even the one I made with with scraps form his favorite)

He loves to copy sounds Jordan makes. Yesterday he learned how to make a clicking noise with his tongue.

He has started to eat some baby food. Last week he picked a jar of apple blueberry, and actually ate some. Since then he's been eating a little each day. He still doesn't eat much, but yesterday he did eat a whole jar of applesauce! I have tried some veggies, but he refuses to eat those. So I'll give it a little more time. And he loves the food cold. It must feel good with his teeth coming in.

Puffs and crackers a still a no-go. Anytime he tries some he throws up. And not just a little bit. So, I guess we'll give that some more time too.

I've tried putting some fruit in the mesh feeder thing, but he won't eat it. He licks it, makes a face {like the one in the video below} and moves on to a toy.

He still puts everything in his mouth. Even if he doesn't like it. Here's a silly video of him playing with a spoon that has some applesauce on it. This is before he decided he liked applesauce. The end of the video is my favorite part.

He's such a cute little guy! By the looks of his month to month pictures, it seems like he's pretty much the happiest kid around:)

Apple Blueberry? I bet Ty would DIG that too!
Go Calin! He's growing and learning new things, just the way we like it. Such a fun little guy :)

Calin is a boy who definitely knows what's best for him!! You're doing such a wonderful job with him little mama! Obviously breastmilk is doing wonders for his growth, health, and well-being. Love you, Mom
