36 week Checkup

I had another checkup today.  Things are still going good.  My weight gain is now 20lbs, which sounds more accurate.  I think the scale at that one horrible clinic I went to last month was off instead of loosing 2 pounds over two weeks, then two weeks later gaining 5, who knows though.  My belly is definitely getting bigger, so I know she's growing, and that's what matters.

Again, I was super impressed with this clinic and my doctor.  He's very friendly, and I didn't have to wait at all again.  I was worried that I wouldn't make it back in time for Jordan to go to his meeting so I asked the other wives if anyone would be willing to watch Calin if I'm not back in time (I had so many offers, it was so sweet!  Hopefully I'll have that many willing to watch him when I go into labor if needed!), but I was in and out of there within about 15-20 min.

They did the Group B Strep test, hopefully it comes back negative again.  The doctor also checked me and said I'm 50% effaced and dilated to a 1.  But really, that doesn't tell me anything.  She is head down though, which is great.

I have 3 1/2 weeks till my due date.  My mom is sure this little girl is going to be late (since I was over 2 weeks late in July), but I think she'll come right around her due date, maybe a tad earlier.  Anyone else have guesses?

And since this is a pretty boring post, I'll make it even more so with some pics of the sewing projects I finished this week.

A new nursing cover.  The one I used with Calin was double sided and way too hot for this Arkansas heat.  So this new one is lighter, and it has a little pocket on the inside.

And some burp cloths of course.  Last time I used flannel, and this time I just used some cute cotton and soft chenille for the back.   I like the look more, but we'll see which works better.  I also made them different shapes, some just rectangle, and some curved.

Glad everything is looking good. So sad I won't see your baby until she is like 2 months old. :( Cute projects!

So my guess is July 8th. I love guessing when babies are born. If you are ever stuck at home please come over and play with us. And we can watch callin when you are in labor. I know you have lots of good options which is reassuring!
