Taylor

We think we finally decided on a name. Really it's the only name that has stuck with me the whole time. Jordan loves the name, but was leaning a little more towards using it for a girl if we have another one (which I love Taylor for a girl also), so it took him a while to come around to it. But I would be surprised if we named this little guy anything else. So 90% sure on Taylor :)

Now for the pregnancy update:

Quick refresher -
*Due date is 12/12
*Both Calin and Capri were 1 wk early, if this guy follows in their footsteps EDD is 12/5
*I almost always measure 1wk ahead
*Unlike most pregnant gals a few weeks before their due date, I don't want to have this baby early. I'm not ready. I have lots and lots of things I want/need to get done before he comes! I wouldn't mind if he even came late! Especially since my mom isn't able to come till the 14th so I won't have any help for the first week. I'm really stressing about that since that's when help is really needed. We don't even know what we will do with Calin and Capri while I'm in labor. I'm sure it will work out. But if anyone want to come hang out with us that first week COME ON OVER!! :) Please!
Last week I had my 36wk apt. All was well. I was dilated to 1.5 and 50% effaced which is more than I've been with the past two this early on. And I was actually measuring 36wks (I've been a wk ahead through most the pregnancy). Yesterday I had another appointment at 37 weeks. I opted out of getting checked since it hardly tells you anything anyway. But I am measuring 39 weeks. I wasn't thrilled to hear that news. The Dr said he would like to do an ultrasound to see how big the baby is.

So we went in for an ultrasound this morning to check his size. As far as measurements go (nothing to do with weight) he is measuring 1 wk ahead (38wks). Nothing alarming. We expected that. But his weight! Oh my! His current weight is 8.6lbs!!! I asked how accurate that was and she said it could go a pound either way. I'm sure it is a pound over. I looked back to see what Calin's 37wk ultrasound measurements were and he was estimated 7lbs 7oz. And was born 2wks later at 7lbs 15oz. Seriously, 8.6lbs at 37 weeks is just crazy! He was tucked into a tight ball the whole time so I'm hoping it was just hard for her to get an accurate measurement.

Everything else is going well. I haven't been having many contractions, and no painful ones at all yet. And we've been getting lots of stuff ready for this little one! I have been scouring craigslist for cheap baby items (finally got a swing for this one!). This is the first time we aren't moving across the country mid pregnancy so it's nice that I can get things ready!

My favorite new thing so far are the Aden + Anais bamboo blankets I just ordered for Taylor. Oh my, I am obsessed with them! They are so so soft and beautiful!!! I can not wait to use them, and I can't believe my other two missed out on these heavenly blankets!!

I think there is only one thing left on my list to find. I love carrying my babies. And I've loved my homemade moby wraps, but I'm hoping to find a good deal on a baby k'tan wrap since you don't have to worry about tying it and the super long fabric . . .  hopefully I can find one soon :)

Yes! Thanks for the update! So exciting. 8.6 lbs wowzers. Lets pray he has a teeny head then! I can't wait to see him. I usually want to go early but I agree with you, there's so much to do before with the 3rd child. Can't wait to see him, keep us posted... i'll be on pins and needles now for the next 3 weeks checking my phone for a picture of my new nephew! I love him all ready. :) You're, as always in our prayers that everything goes well.

I love that name so cute!!!! I am anxiously awaiting his birth haha! I think we might have two big boys on our hands, but those ultrasounds could be wrong, either way! We are excited for you guys and pray everything will go smoothly. Hang in there!

Cute name. :) I had James a week early and he was 8lbs 5 oz. I can't imagine what he would have weighed if he was a week late like his sister (she was 8lbs. 10oz.). Prayers for a smooth L&D for you!

Never heard of those blankets. Will have to check them out for upcoming shower gifts.
