So Will You?

Per my S.I.L. Mickie's request, here is our engagement story -
Jordan and I met the first day of Spring semester at BYU-I. And things moved along pretty quickly. We were dating for about a month when we started talking about getting married, and we were both pretty sure we had found "the one" right away. We were both off-track in the fall, so it made sense to get married during that time. And since I was not one of those girls who had been planning her wedding since she was 5, I needed more than a month to plan (thoguh 3 months was pushing it too). So I gave Jordan a deadline, and he came through :)
It was the last weekend we had before my mom came to visit (and I wanted to be able to go dress shopping with her when she came, so his deadline was the week before she arrived) so I knew he was going to propose soon. Friday night we went to a concert on campus then out to ice-cream. After ice-cream he said he was going to take me home. It was 10:00 on a Friday night (here at BYU-I we have a 12:00 curfew except on Friday's when it's extended to 1:00am), all of my roommates were out on dates, and I was sure he was going to propose that night, so I laughed and acted like he was kidding.
M- "So what are we going to do now?"
J - "I'm taking you home. You should go to bed early tonight."
M - "Ha, right. Really, what are we doing now?"
J - "Really! I'm taking you home. But I'll see you in the morning."
M - "What time in the morning?"
J - "around 4:00"
M - "WHAT?! NO, I don't think so. Let's just go do something else."
J - "Nope, you need to get some sleep."
And that was that. He took me home, and I pouted the whole time. I sat at home alone waiting for my roommates to get back from their dates, and finally went to bed a little after 1:00.
Sure enough around 4:00am he called me and said he was waiting outside. I was tempted to go back to sleep, but caved and went outside to meet him.
He blindfolded me and we went on a short drive. Once the car was parked he led me over to the spot, and removed the blind fold. We were on top of a hill facing East overlooking a wheat field . He had set up a blanket, some roses, and a box of Florence's chocolates. As we sat watching the sunrise he handed me the flowers with a little note that read
"Good morning Beautiful,
I pray this sunrise will be a symbol of not only today's beginning, but ours as well. I love you with an eternal love.
Smile"
When I looked up he had the box with my ring in it and said "So, will you?" And wanting to hear the actual words, I said "will I what?" "Will you marry me?" he finally said. And of course I said "YES!"
The next week when my mom arrived, she brought with her the ring that my great grandma Valponi left me. It's an old miners cut round diamond that we used as the center stone in my ring. And I love it! It is so special to me!
So we met in April, got engaged in June, and married in September - all in the same year. We didn't know each other for very long at all, and yet I've never found myself thinking I hardly know him. Nothing has changed over the past few years. He's still the same guy I fell in love with, and each day I think I fall even more in love :) That's just how it works I guess!
